| Summary: | VDS Info and Victim Support Service is a service for victims of crime, which
was established within the Victimology Society of Serbia in 2003. The target
group consists of direct and indirect victims of both sexes, of all forms of
crime, as well as women who are serving a prison sentence. The Service
provides emotional support, information, and, if necessary, referral to other
relevant services and also provides support in the court. The aim of the
paper is to present the work of the Service in the period 2013-2015, to point
to its development over the given time, particularly in terms of improving
services which are provide to victims. |
