Description
Summary:The paper explores art as a means of introspective communication in children with autism, with a focus on the symbolic analysis of the shell and spider Web motif. Through an interdisciplinary theoretical framework that includes neuroscience, symbolism, psychology of perception and contemporary artistic practice, the ways in which autistic perception of the world can be expressed through visual language are analyzed. The symbol of the shell is interpreted as a metaphor for protection, vulnerability and internal organization, while the network signifies the complexity of perception and selective communication. In the framework of the work, a qualitative methodology was applied, which includes theoretical analysis, symbolic interpretation, visual analysis and a case study. A particular aesthetic logic, structural consistency, and a profoundly symbolic story are present in the author's work "Shell" and in the artistic expression of children with autism, according to the analysis. It has been determined that art, as an introspective language, can support inclusive artistic and educational practices as well as the comprehension and validation of neurodivergent identities.
