Description
Summary:This review summarizes the history of the development of ideas and results of modern studies of the pathogenesis mechanisms that mediate the interaction of nerve and immune functions of the brain. Indicated system (effector cells, their receptors and ligands) participating in the pathophysiological reactions in the nervous system. The interaction between the nervous and immune systems, carried out on the basis of interactive regulation, defines risk impairment of function of one of them in the pathology of the other. Participation duplicative regulatory factors in neuroimmune interactions limits the risk of such violations, compensate insufficient accuracy or overproduction of some regulators by other appropriate changes. When there is failure of compensatory mechanisms neurogenic immune deficiency and the subsequent formation of secondary neurological disorders.
