Summary:We report phase sensitive amplification in a <inline-formula><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$1.5\mathrm{\,mm}$</tex-math> </inline-formula> long, <inline-formula><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$Ga_{0.5}In_{0.5}P$</tex-math></inline-formula> dispersion engineered photonic crystal waveguide which has a flattened dispersion profile. A signal degenerate configuration with pulsed pumps whose total peak power is only <inline-formula><tex-math notation="LaTeX"> $\text{0.5}\,\text{W}$</tex-math></inline-formula> yields a phase sensitive extinction ratio of <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\text{10}\,\text{dB}$</tex-math></inline-formula>.
