| Summary: | The objective of the study is to demonstrate the dual utility of photographs of climate change: to archive landscapes in perpetual mutation, raise awareness about anthropogenic impacts on landscapes, and study representations of climate change. Landscape photography emerges as an interesting means to raise public awareness about the issue of climate change and the importance of preserving these landscapes. It serves to capture situations that will disappear later, making it an interesting archive and a source of information on landscapes undergoing transformation. This is why the use of photography in the fields of communication, scientific mediation, and education around climate change is accelerating. In this article, we will delve into research based on immersion and participant observation within a Tunisian sustainable development association, Réseau Enfants de la Terre. We will explore how to represent these landscapes on one hand, and on the other hand, to what extent the impact of these photographs is evident in the recognition of the value of landscapes and raising awareness about climate urgency. |
