description This study explored the impact of green manufacturing practices, green technology innovation, and eco-design on enhancing the environmental sustainability of the manufacturing sector in Pakistan. The study employed primary data from 465 respondents from different manufacturing industries in Pakistan. Dataset reliability and validity were assessed by means of PLS-SEM before hypothesis testing was conducted by employing regression analysis, which indicates that green manufacturing and green technology innovation enhance sustainable green practices in manufacturing. Furthermore, eco-design is a middleman between green manufacturing and technology as well as sustainable processes, and the study is more specific and confined to the manufacturing sector in Pakistan, thus reducing the possibility of generalising its findings. Further research can be made to the study of other regions or sectors in order to get even a better insight of sustainability practices around the world. This study contributes to the contemporary knowledge in the field of eco-design and offers useful tips to the members of the manufacturing sector, who are interested in improving sustainability in their companies. This study advances knowledge on sustainable manufacturing and supports the UN’s Agenda 2030 and the entire spectrum of the SDGs.
