| Streszczenie: | This research endeavour particularly emphasizes the roles of facilitating conditions, attitudes, and intentions in influencing IT usage behaviour. Utilising a descriptive, cross-sectional research methodology, data were acquired through a meticulously structured survey employing adapted scales derived from prior studies. Thirty-nine scale items evaluated 10 variables pertinent to facilitating conditions, attitude, intention, and IT system usage behaviour. The sample population comprised 544 participants, meticulously selected through a systematic random sampling technique. The findings elucidate critical determinants affecting attitudes towards IT usage, wherein resistance to change, effort expectancy, performance expectancy, social influence, and mimetic pressure all significantly augment attitudes. Moreover, both mimetic and coercive pressures positively influence the intent to adopt IT systems in Nepalese HEIs. Furthermore, attitudes towards usage, intention to utilise, and facilitating conditions were identified as significant predictors of IT system usage behaviour. These findings provide valuable insights into the manner in which institutional support impacts IT adoption within the HEIs in Nepal, underscoring critical areas for policy and strategic development aimed at enhancing technology integration within these institutions. |
