| Summary: | The article shows the processes of family transformation in the modern Western world, including in Russia, as a unique social institution. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the crisis moments of its development are indicated through the main reproductive function. As part of overcoming this crisis, the necessity and inevitability of the state family policy, both at the federal and regional levels, is proved. The specific features of the current stage of this policy are revealed. The analysis of regional state policy is presented on the example of the subject of the Russian Federation - Omsk Region, its main directions and mechanisms of implementation are indicated. Recommendations were made on improving state family policy, strengthening and developing the family institution, preserving and restoring traditional family values. |
