Description
Summary:The service performance of oil well casings in high-temperature CaCl2 completion fluids needs to be further clarified in the face of increasingly harsh downhole corrosion conditions.Additionally, the corrosion resistance and cracking sensitivity of casings are influenced by CO2 infiltration and plastic deformation of tubing.Hence, the corrosion behavior of P110S in high-temperature CaCl2 completion fluid was investigated by means of corrosion simulation test in high temperature and high pressure reactor, together with other analysis methods such as weight-loss method, electrochemical method, SEM and XRD.Results showed that when there was no stress and no CO2 infiltration, there was no localized corrosion risk of P110S in CaCl2 completion fluid, but the increase of temperature would lead to the increase of corrosion rate. The corrosion rate of P110S increased obviously due to the infiltration of CO2 and there was a risk of localized corrosion at 210 ℃.Besides, the plastic deformation zone of P110S showed serious localized corrosion risk at 210 ℃ without CO2 infiltration.
