Description
Summary:The relationship between intellectuals and political power has been a constant throughout history and different societies. Latin America is not an exception. From the origin of his emancipation to these days, various intellectuals have been linked to the political power, either looking act as “Trustees of the Prince”, organics, critics, opponents, or directly involved in political functions. From the Dreyfus case, "the question of the intellectual" acquired specific characteristics and inspired a set of works. This article is related with this topic and it approaches the current relation between intellectuals and the kirchnerism in Argentina. We propose to offer a political analysis about the intellectual’s group interventions (languages, resources and key points); arisen after the conflict in 2008 and that have supported collective dynamics. Four groups are analyzed: Carta Abierta, Aurora, Club Político Argentino y Plataforma 2012. Our methodological strategy involves an analysis of its founding interventions. The study of intellectual’s interventions helps us understand the presence of ideological matrices, ways of understanding the democracy and intellectual labor, and the dispute about the interpretation of political reality.
