Description
Summary:This study applies Colaizzi's 7-step analysis and SWOT analysis to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the process of community hospice care. The results show that community hospice care has strong accessibility, positive experience, high recognition, strong doctor-patient connectivity, with the advantage of integrating chronic disease and hospice care management. However, there are obstacles such as a shortage of community medical staff, a lack of medication standards, inadequate hospice care education, and policy lags. It is recommended that communities should leverage their existing strengths and optimize them, while also utilizing external opportunities to address weaknesses, overcome threats and challenges. It emphasizes enhancing talent development, improving professional standards, strengthening hospice care education for both professionals and the public, and establishing a sound financial mechanism to strengthen the management system of hospice care.
