Summary: | Manuel Zapata Olivella was one of the greatest organic intellectuals of Colombia during the 20th century, however, his imprint has been silenced in the history of national and international Marxism. Therefore, remembering his text “China 6 a. m.” as a pioneer in the creative reading and authentic appropriation of the Chinese Revolution during the 1950s, is a commitment to implementing a counterpoint archaeology of Colombian Marxism, allowing the generation of important evaluations on the significance of Zapata Olivella’s legacy in it. |
