| Summary: | This paper aims to highlight the importance and impact of environmental education in the development of ecological awareness, ethics, and responsibility among preschool-aged children. It focuses on the key aspects of how early educational interventions can shape children's attitudes and behaviors toward the environment. Through a review of relevant literature and analysis of practical examples, the paper emphasizes the importance of integrating ecological principles into early childhood education programs. It is concluded that environmental education at the preschool level can significantly contribute to the development of environmentally responsible behavior, awareness of nature protection, and the adoption of ecological ethics. The application of new technologies in the exploitation of natural resources, stemming from recent scientific discoveries, has disrupted the balance between humans and their environment. Educating and raising children in preschool institutions in an ecological spirit plays an important role in shaping environmental awareness and behavior from an early age. This type of education aims to foster a love for nature in children and teach them how to care for and protect it properly. Preschool institutions have a vital role in educating children about ecology through play, activities, and projects tailored to their age and interests. |
