Summary: | The article examines the issue of atmospheric air pollution and its impact on public health, substantiating the need for timely informing the population about critical pollution levels. An analysis of modern air quality monitoring systems, including Ukrainian and international solutions, has been conducted, identifying their shortcomings and prospects for improvement. A personalized information system has been proposed, taking into account users’ individual characteristics and providing recommendations based on their health conditions. The study presents the development of a mobile application for Android and iOS, utilizing Flutter for cross-platform compatibility and the Air Quality API for obtaining real-time air pollution data. Integrated Google Maps allow for the visualization of pollution levels in different regions, while push notifications ensure prompt user alerts regarding the exceedance of safe pollutant concentration levels. The application is integrated with Firebase to ensure the secure storage of user data and personalized notification settings. The system provides automatic monitoring, push notifications, and personalized recommendations for different risk groups. The advantages of the proposed approach include high data accuracy, ease of use, and timely information delivery. The obtained results can be used for further improvement of mobile environmental monitoring systems and the expansion of their functionality to enhance environmental awareness among the population and reduce the negative impact of polluted air on health. |
