description In order to promote the application of UV curable coatings in sports equipment, two UV curable coatings were prepared by MQ resin modified silicone light cured resin and polyester acrylate oligomer. The reinforcement effect of MQ resin on UV curable coatings was analyzed, and its potential application characteristics in sports equipment were explored. Two groups of UV coatings with different modification routes were prepared by adding different proportions of raw materials, and the effects of modification on pencil hardness, light transmittance and water contact angle were studied. Results showed that in the aspect of coating surface hardness, MQ resin modified silicone light cured resin could enhance the effect, while MQ resin had limited reinforcement effect on polyester acrylate. In the aspect of coating light transmittance, the light transmittance of silicone modified silicone light cured resin system was better than that of polyester acrylic acid oligomer system, and the light transmittance of coating gradually was decreased gradually and close to zero with the increase of MQ resin content. In terms of coating hydrophilicity, when the content of MQ resin was constant, the hydrophilicity of the coating was increased with the increase of the content of silicone light cured resin and polyester acrylate oligomer; and when the content of MQ resin was changed, there was almost no effect in the silicone modified light cured resin system, while in the polyester acrylate oligomer system, the contact angle was decreased and the hydrophilicity of the coating was increased with the increase of the content of MQ resin.
