description In the article, the opinion of the two great West and Islamic philosophers 'Husserl' and 'Mulla Sadra' about the nature of the knowledge has been compared. It seems that one could find some similarities and parallel thoughts comparing the West and Islamic experts' ideas about this major philosophical problem, which has been discussed by the thinkers of different philosophical schools for a long time. In particular, there are many similarities between Husserl and Mulla Sadra in this case. Husserl describes the nature of the knowledge using the intentionality, and Mulla Sadra reveals it by means of 'soul creation' term. Although these two philosophers where from quite different philosophical traditions and cultures, and despite the fact that they had different sources and purposes, after comparison it would be clear that they had lots of similarities regarding their philosophical discussion forms. The main hypothesis stating that the except of similarity of thought between the two philosophers, both leading to the solution according to the status "human" in terms of concrete and not abstract. In addition to the achievement of mutual understanding and dialogue among cultures and philosophies, passes through mutual dialogue among philosophers.
