Description
Item Description:It was in the time of the ancient Egyptians that astronomy, mathematics and surveying first became accepted as sciences. Since then surveying, borne of necessity, has expanded to keep pace with a developing society. This development of modern methods of surveying was to a great extent made possible by the continuous improvement of surveying techniques and instruments. The driving force which resulted in these developments will undoubtably open up new horizons in the future.
