Item Description:Papua New Guinea, second largest island in the world, is one of the few countries that still maintains its traditional culture. The Morobe Provincial Government is concerned about retaining the culture of the province. In 1977 Silas Guiappe (sp?) with the help of his sons built the old sea-going canoe 'Anzanee'which sailed in the late sixties.
