Weight Threshold Check Coding for Dimmable Indoor Visible Light Communication Systems

Weight Threshold Check Coding for Dimmable Indoor Visible Light Communication Systems by Yu Zuo, Jian Zhang, Yan-Yu Zhang, Ru-Han Chen

    Published 2018-01-01

To provide energy savings and ecological benefits, dimming control is a crucial factor in indoor visible light communication (VLC) system where desired brightness levels can be achieved. General dimming control methods have an adverse effect on communication, e.g., limiting the achievable data rate...

Autoencoder-Based Transceiver Design for OWC Systems in Log-Normal Fading Channel

Autoencoder-Based Transceiver Design for OWC Systems in Log-Normal Fading Channel by Zhao-Rui Zhu, Jian Zhang, Ru-Han Chen, Hong-Yi Yu

    Published 2019-01-01

In this paper, we construct the autoencoder (AE) for optical wireless communication (OWC) systems with non-negativity and peak power constraints, which provides effective transceiver design in log-normal channel. We consider the cases where perfect channel state information (CSI) or noisy CSI can be...
