Horacio Zeballos

Zeballos in 2015 Horacio Zeballos Jr. (, ; born 27 April 1985) is an Argentine professional tennis player. He reached a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 1 on 6 May 2024, becoming the first Argentinian man to achieve the feat. He is a Grand Slam champion at the 2025 French Open with Marcel Granollers.

In singles, Zeballos has a career-high singles ranking of No. 39, achieved on 4 March 2013. He won his first and only ATP title at the 2013 Chile Open. In the final, he beat Rafael Nadal, becoming one of only five players (with Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and Nuno Borges) to beat Nadal in a clay court final. He also reached the fourth round at the French Open, doing so in 2017, and the final in St. Petersburg in 2009, Russia, losing to Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky. Zeballos won the 2009 ATP Newcomer of the Year award.

In doubles, he has won 25 ATP titles and reached the men's doubles finals at the 2019 US Open and at Wimbledon in 2021 and 2023 alongside Granollers. He reached his first doubles final at the 2010 Chile Open in Santiago, with partner Potito Starace. They lost to top seeds Łukasz Kubot and Oliver Marach.
